YES BANK’s Institutionalized Talent Acquisition program aimed at hiring the best available management professionals from the Premier B-Schools in India and select foreign Universities.
Y-PEP is one of YES BANK’s most innovative and institutionalized Talent Acquisition program led by the YES SCHOOL OF BANKING which aims at hiring the best available management professionals, directly from the Premier B-Schools in India and select foreign Universities
The program, launched in 2006, aims to foster young leadership by placing the participants in challenging roles and projects and driving high performance through structured Induction, learning programs, and mentorship by senior management, inculcating prudent risk taking attitude and developing Leadership qualities. It is designed to arm participants with a repertoire of skills and experiences that are unique, valuable and hard to replicate, in order to meet and support the Bank's future growth plans and challenges. The notable feature of this program is that the Young Professionals are selected for specific positions. They undergo intensive on-the-job training where they are given real and meaningful assignments to build their expertise and confidence
YES BANK has inducted over 900 management professionals through this program. This highly qualified talent pool has contributed consistently to augment and support the Bank's knowledge based, state-of-the-art technology driven services across key banking relationships, products, knowledge advisory groups and critical support functions. The success of this innovative program has showcased YES BANK as an “Employer of Choice” across premium B-School campuses
As a part of their onboarding, YPEPs go through a highly focused and intensive Induction program introducing them to YES BANK’s Story, Brand, Vision, Ethos, Key differentiators, insights into all Business Units, awareness of key products, processes, critical behavioral skills basis their current competencies and team building exercises
Further to equip this unique talent pool with the right skills so as to enable them take up bigger responsibilities we put select Y-PEPs through the follow initiatives:
· Structured learning & engagement roadmap which is a combination of Classroom Training, Projects, Group Coaching & Success Meets (one initiative per quarter) that aims at developing the Y-PEPs around their core competencies.
· Further, select Y-PEP are identified as Hi-Potential (Hi-Po) executives and are put through structured developmental workshops
