YES BANK Empowers MSMEs with ‘Scale-up’ Knowledge Series in Hyderabad,Partners with FTAPCCI to Help Local Businesses from Telangana Go Global

First Knowledge Session in Hyderabad with 100 year old association FTAPCCI

Mumbai, February 20, 2018: YES BANK, India’s fourth largest private sector bank, has launched a knowledge series for Top Executives and Promoters of Micro, Small and Medium Scale Enterprises (MSMEs) in Hyderabad, in partnership with Federation of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FTAPCCI) to help local entrepreneurs scale their businesses for global audiences and gain competitive advantage.

The exclusive forum of MSME CXOs witnessed an audience of over 200 leaders engrossed in discussions led by the Keynote speaker Shri Srinivas Gowra, President FTAPCCI, who set the tone of the event by focusing on “Digital Finance and its Impact on MSMEs.”

The ‘Scale-up’ Knowledge Series is designed to equip SMEs with information about resource planning and management of challenges associated with scaling up, more so, in the context of the transformational shifts taking place in global commerce due to rapid changes in technology and a dynamic geo-political and regulatory environment. The session focused extensively on Digital Finance, the impact of Fintech on financial services, and issues relevant to entrepreneurs of industrial city of Hyderabad.

The session included a panel discussion that witnessed young entrepreneurs of Hyderabad passionately discuss the 'Impact of Digitization on MSMEs'. The panel was moderated by Mr. Gaurav Goel, Senior President and Country Head, Commercial Business Banking, YES BANK.

In keeping with its ethos of Knowledge Banking, YES BANK has previously hosted ‘Scale-up’ Knowledge Series in Pune and Ludhiana in partnership with Mahratta Chamber of Commerce, Industries and Agriculture (MCCIA) Pune and Ludhiana Management Association (LMA) to facilitate hassle-free transition of MSMEs to the new GST regime and scale-up businesses in an increasingly transforming global scenario.
