New Delhi, July 11, 2015: YES BANK, India’s fifth largest private sector Bank, was awarded the ‘Golden Peacock Environment Management Award – 2015’ in the Banking (Financial) Category at the Institute of Directors’ (IoD) 17th World Congress on Environment Management held in Delhi on July 10-11, 2015. YES BANK is the only bank in the history of IoD’s World Congress on Environment Management, to win the prestigious award twice in Environment Management category. The event witnessed participation from Shri. Prakash Javadekar, Hon’ble Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Environment, Forest & Climate Change as the Chief Guest.

The 2nd Awards cycle (comprising of Environment Management, Occupational Health & Safety and Eco-Innovation categories) received over 469 responses, out of which 245 were shortlisted after a rigorous 3 tier assessment process done by an Expert Assessment Group of Environment and Health & Safety experts.
