Chennai, August 20, 2015: YES BANK, India’s fifth largest private sector Bank, today launched the Chennai Chapter of the YES BANK National CFO Forum, a unique knowledge initiative exclusively for CFOs in India. The YES BANK–National CFO Forum was conceived with an objective to recognize and appreciate the indispensable role of the CFO in an organization and has seen active participation from over 600 members from the CFO community across the country. The Forum has been conceptualized in the form of Chapters across India, with the Mumbai Chapter launched in September 2011. The launch witnessed the unveiling of the charter of the National CFO Forum, Chennai Chapter by Chief Guest, Mr. S. Krishnan, IAS, Principal Secretary, Planning & Development and CEO, Tamil Nadu Infrastructure Development Board. Mr. Lakshmi Narayanan, Vice Chairman, Cognizant, Mr. A. Velliangiri, Deputy MD, Tamil Nadu Newsprint & Papers Ltd. & Mr. N. K. Ranganath, MD & CEO, Grundfos India Ltd. were present as Guests of Honor at the event. A panel of some of India’s most influential CFOs participated in a discussion on “Chennai: the fulcrum of India as a design, manufacturing and innovation hub”.
