Enhanced Security for YES BANK Credit Card Transactions

As per RBI circular dated January 15, 2020 on Enhancing Security of Card Transactions, it is mandatory to temporarily disable International, Online and Contactless transactions on Credit Cards for new, reissued, and upgraded Credit Cards at the time of delivery.

In addition to the above, for customers who have never used their existing credit card for online, contactless and international transactions, these transactions would be temporarily disabled for them.

However, you can instantly enable these transactions and set per transaction limits on your card through any of the following options.

YES ONLINE (NetBanking)

  1. Login to YES ONLINE

  2. Go to Credit Cards tab → Select Card Number → Click view more details → Select Transaction Control

  3. a) Select transaction control of your choice and set domestic/international per transaction limit b) Click proceed and confirm the changes with OTP

YES Mobile App

  1. Login to YES Mobile app

  2. Go to Cards → Credit Cards → Card Control → Transaction Control → Select Card Number

  3. Tap on Active/Inactive to change the status and use the scale to set limit for any transaction type

Service Portal

  1. Go to https://www.yesbank.in/

  2. Click ‘Login’ → Select ‘YES Service Portal → Click ‘Get Started’

  3. Select ‘Yes’ for existing yes bank customer → Go to ‘Credit Card’ tab → Select ‘Transaction Control’

  4. Enter Credit Card Number, Expiry Date, DOB and click ‘Proceed’ → Verify with OTP

  5. Click on toggle button to turn on/off transactions and +/- button to set per transaction limit

  6. Click proceed and confirm changes → Enter OTP

Q1. Why are my International / Online / Contactless transactions disabled?

We have disabled International / Online / Contactless transactions for new, upgraded and reissued cards as per the RBI circular dated January 15, 2020 on Enhancing Security of Card Transactions, to encourage security of transactions on your card. This is also applicable for existing cards that have not been used for International / Online / Contactless transactions.

Q2. How do I enable my card for online, contactless and international transactions?

You can enable your card for international, contactless and online transactions through YES Mobile App or YES ONLINE (NetBanking).

  • YES ONLINE (NetBanking)
  1. Login to YES ONLINE (yesonline.yesbank.co.in)

  2. Go to Credit Cards tab → Select Card Number → Click view more details → Select Transaction Control

Q3. What will happen to existing recurring payments/standing instructions on my card?

You will need to enable Online/Standing instructions for domestic & international transactions for all standing instructions to work successfully.

Q4. I hold an Add-on Card, how do I set my card controls?

Only primary card holder can set controls for add-on card through YES Mobile App & YES ONLINE (NetBanking).

Q5. Will there be an alert sent for any changes done on my card controls?

Yes, any change in card settings will initiate an instant alert to the Cardmember.

Q6. I have received my new/upgraded/reissued card. Will my International, Online and Contactless transactions get approved?

No, you need to enable International, Online and Contactless transactions on your card using YES Mobile App or YES ONLINE (NetBanking).

 

Enhanced Security for YES BANK Corporate and Purchase Credit Card Transactions

As per RBI circular dated January 15, 2020 on Enhancing Security of Card Transactions, it is mandatory to temporarily disable International, Online and Contactless transactions on Credit Cards for new and reissued Credit Cards at the time of delivery.

In addition to the above, for Cardmembers who have never used their existing Credit Card for online, contactless and international transactions, these transactions would be temporarily disabled for them.

However, you can enable these transactions and set per transaction limits on your card through any of the following options.

For Corporate Credit Card

YES ONLINE (NetBanking)

  1. Login to YES ONLINE

  2. Go to Credit Cards tab → Select Card Number → Click View/Set Transaction Limits

  3. Select transaction control of your choice and set domestic/international per transaction limit

  4. Click on proceed and confirm the changes with OTP validation

YES Mobile App

  1. Login to YES Mobile app

  2. Go to Cards → Credit Cards → Card Control → Transaction Control → Control Usage

  3. Tap on Active/Inactive to change the status and use the scale to set limit for any transaction type

Service Portal
