Steps to complete purchase via Bharat QR
The below mentioned steps needs to be followed for purchase via Bharat QR:
Step-1: Login to YES PAY App. In case the App is not available on phone, please download and register for YES PAY app from either Google Play Store/Apple App Store
Step-2: Click on pay by Bharat QR option
Step-3: Scan merchant’s Bharat QR code
Step-4: Enter amount to be paid along with tip/convenience fee (if applicable) and confirm
Step-5: Select preferred mode for payment and confirm
Step-6: Receive payment confirmation message
1. What is Bharat QR?

2. How does Bharat QR work?
Bharat QR works as an alternate channel of payment, where cardholder have to download the YES PAY app & scan the Bharat QR code at Merchant store and select their preferred payment mode to make payment. Once the payment is successful both cardholder and merchant receive notification in mobile application for successful transaction.
3. What are basic requirements for enablement for Bharat QR?
To scan the QR code, you must download and register for YES PAY app from either Google Play Store/Apple App Store.
4. What are various payment modes for completion of transaction and what is pre-requisite for paying using the payment modes ?

5. How is Bharat QR transaction different from POS transaction?
In POS transaction, a POS terminal is required whereas, in Bharat QR all you need is a QR code. Also, in case of Bharat QR transaction, the mobile phone is used to scan the QR Code placed at the merchant outlet and make the payment using the various payment modes linked to the YES PAY application.
6. Where can I use Bharat QR to make purchase?
Just look for the Bharat QR code mark (displayed by the merchant at his location in case of static QR /on merchants App in case of dynamic QR) wherever you wish to pay.
7. What are steps to complete purchase via Bharat QR?

9. Do I need to be customer of YES BANK to use Bharat QR to make payments?
No, you need not be a YES BANK customer to complete payments using UPI or wallet. To make payment through YES BANK Account or YES BANK Debit Card/Credit Card you need to be a YES BANK Customer
10. Are there any charges for using Bharat QR?
There are no additional charges for making transaction through Bharat QR.
11. How can I access a record of all historical transactions?
You can access the record of transactions as under depending on the payment mode:

12. Does my mobile number with YES PAY app and the one registered with my bank account/Credit Card have to be the same?
Yes. The mobile number which is used for registration of YES PAY and linked to your Bank Accounts/Credit Card must be the same.
13. What happens if the customer’s account/credit card has been debited and merchant has not received the payment?
In case the cardholder’s account is debited but the merchant has not received the payment, the money will be automatically refunded back into cardholders account/Credit Card.
Sometimes this takes longer than intended. Incase if cardholder does not receive the refund within 48 hours, customer should contact YES TOUCH Customer Care (1800 1200) and for Credit Card (1800 103 1212)
14. Will the transaction happen only during banking hours?
No, the transaction can be done any time and banking hours in not the constraint for doing Bharat QR transactions.
