Rana Kapoor is the Managing Director & CEO of YES BANK. Rana Kapoor received an Honorary Fellowship from All India Management Association (AIMA), Doctorate in Science (Honoris Causa) from G.B. Pant University of Agriculture & Technology, India’s foremost and oldest Agri University, for his contribution to the Food & Agribusiness sector in INDIA. He holds an MBA degree from Rutgers’ University in New Jersey, U.S.A. (1980), and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics (Honours) from the University of Delhi (1977). He has also received the prestigious President’s Medal from Rutgers University.

Mr. Kapoor was felicitated for Lifetime Contribution for Promotion of Indian Tourism by the Pacific Asian Travel Writers Association, ITB Berlin. Mr. Kapoor received the ‘Best Business Innovator’ award at the Asia Business Leadership Forum. He was recognized as ‘Visionary Business and Banking Leader’ by NAREDCO, MCHI- CREDAI and FHRAI for his extraordinary contributions to Housing & Construction, Urban Infrastructure, Tourism and Hospitality sectors among others in 2014. He had earlier received The Asian Banker CEO Leadership Achievement Award for India, 2013. He has also received the 2013 Godfrey Phillips ‘National Special Social Award’ for actively driving the vision of Responsible Banking. Prior to establishing YES BANK, Rana Kapoor was CEO & Managing Director, and main Managing Partner of Rabo India Finance (RIF) Pvt. Ltd. (a corporate finance and investment banking organisation). He successfully spearheaded RIF as a foreign joint venture financial services organization in partnership with Rabobank (AAA rated) in India and assiduously built RIF as a Professional Entrepreneur from 1998-2003. Thereafter he sold his shareholdings to Rabobank,Netherlands, in early 2003.
Prior to starting Rabo India, he was the General Manager & Country Head: ANZ Grindlays&rsquo Investment Bank (ANZIB, from 1996-98). He spent 15 years at Bank of America (1980-1995), where he last headed the Bank’s Wholesale Banking businesses and held several positions of increasing responsibility, including assignments in Asian countries. He was presented the Eagle Pin by the Chairman of Bank of America in 1990, the highest professional recognition for consistent performance excellence at Bank of America, amongst several other enterprising achievements.

Ms. Radha Singh

Ms. Radha Singh has been on the Board of YES BANK since April 2008 as an Independent Director and currently holds the position of Non-Executive Part-time Chairperson of YES BANK Limited since October 2014.
Ms. Singh was an officer of the Indian Administrative Service having more than 39 years of experience in public service in areas of rural and agriculture development, water resources, public finance and institution building. Ms. Radha Singh was serving as Union Agriculture & Cooperation Secretary till November, 2006 and has recently superannuated from Government service.
Responsible for formulation and implementation of Agriculture Policy, Ms. Singh has been involved in strengthening and building resilience in this sector, through specific targeted initiatives. These include increasing investments in programmes for diversification into high value agriculture, improving productivity through better variety seeds, germplasm, sustainability, establishment of post-harvest infrastructure marketing and establishment of linkages between Indian agriculture and the global food retail chain.
Some of Ms. Singh’s very concrete contributions in the recent years have been operationalization of the Protection of Plant Varieties and Farmers’ Right Act for safeguarding interest of breeders. Establishment of the PPV & FR Authority and piloting the Seeds Act, 2004 for ensuring high quality seeds are some other contributions for improving production. She launched the National Horticulture Mission and Bamboo Mission to double the horticulture and bamboo production in the country by 2010. She has assisted in establishment of the National Rainfed Area Authority for a holistic solution to deal with the problems of rainfed agriculture which accounts for 60% of Indian agriculture.
Through a massive programme of water conversation and water use efficiency, micro-irrigation, fertigation and sprinkler irrigation networks are being established in the country, for both agriculture and horticulture. By re-orienting and revitalizing the Indian agricultural extension system and spearheading market reforms through terminal markets and farm-plate linkages, she has sought to give fresh impetus to Indian Agriculture. Biotechnology applications in agricultures are vital for increasing productivity and decreasing cost of production for which a roadmap has been drawn, for its application and enforcement of regulatory requirements. These initiatives have resulted in a remarkable upswing within the sector. There was targeted efforts made to encourage the Cooperative sector/Institutions, and Farmer Producer Organizations through National Cooperative Development Corporation (NCDC) and other entities for bringing resilience, scale and entrepreneurship in Agriculture Sector.
In her capacity as Agriculture Secretary, Ms. Singh also headed multifarious organizations – as Board Member of the International Crops Research Institute of the Semi-Arid Tropics (ICRISAT); Chairperson, Managing Committee, National Horticulture Board (NHB); Chairperson, Managing Committee, National Oilseeds & Vegetable Oils Development Board (NOVOD); Chairperson, Executive Council of National Institute of Agricultural Marketing (NIAM);Vice-Chairperson, Board of Management, National Cooperative Development Corporation (NCDC); Vice-President, Board of Management, Small Famers’ Agri-Business Consortium (SFAC); Chairperson, National Institute of Agricultural Extension Management (MANAGE) and Chairperson of the National Bee Board.
Ms. Singh has been a strong advocate of South—South Cooperation in the field of agriculture and has staunchly supported developing partnership with countries, through positive action and technical assistance in the field of agriculture.
Prior to being appointed as Union Agriculture and Cooperation Secretary, Ms. Singh has held high level policy and managerial position in the Government of India. These included charges of Secretary in the Department of Animal Husbandry, Dairying and Fisheries; Additional Secretary/Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Water Resources, positions in Department of Economic Affairs, Ministry of Finance; and high level positions at the state government level.
Ms. Singh was with the World Bank in Washington, U.S.A. as an Institutional Specialist and in other capacities for six years –1992-1998.
Ms. Radha Singh, Former Agriculture & Cooperation Secretary, Government of India holds Masters’ Degree in Public Policy & Administration, Harvard University (USA), M.A. in Social and Political Sciences, and B.A. (Hon.) in History & Social Sciences from University of Delhi.
Currently Ms. Singh is Agriculture Advisor to FICCI, Director of LT Foods Ltd and Chambal Fertilisers and Chemicals Ltd., Syngenta Foundation for Sustainable Development and Chemi Nova India Ltd.

Mr. M. R. Srinivasan has been on the Board of YES BANK since October 2013 and held the position of Part-time Chairperson of YES Bank Limited (from June 2013 to June 2014).
He has 35 years of experience with Reserve Bank of India. Prior to his appointment on the Board, he was associated with YES BANK as Senior Advisor guiding the Bank on regulatory strtegies (from September 2007 to October 2012).
Mr. Srinivasan was Executive Director and Banking Advisor to IDBI (from November 2003 to August 2007). During his association with IDBI, he assisted in transformation of IDBI from a development financial institution into a commercial banking company, and guided on merger and business / personnel and HR integration issues relating to merger of IDBI Bank and United Western Bank with IDBI. He was IDBI Nominee Director on the Board of IDBI Bank Limited (2004-05) and SPIC Limited (2006-07).
He was associated with Reserve Bank of India (from November 1968 to October 2003). He joined RBI as Probationary Officer in 1968 and superannuated as Chief General Manager in Charge of Department of Banking Operations & Development. He had more than two decades of varied experience in RBI including licencing of Banks and supervision of Co-operative and Commercial Banks, conducting studies on flow of credit to Rural Credit Institutions, setting up MICR cheque processing Centre at Chennai after EDP management training at IBM Training Centre, Sydney in 1986.
As Chief General Manager in Department of Banking Supervision (1999 to 2003), he was particularly responsible for setting up of off-sight Monitoring System for Banks and upgradation of the reporting and analytical framework as part of DFID, UK Project, Reporting system for Indian Banks' overseas operations, Technology upgradation of Bank supervision and processing of off-Site Reports from Banks, Training of Central Bank Supervisors under Technology Environment and upgradation of supervisory skills of Field Supervisiors, Desiging of CAMELS rating system for Bank inspection, Evolving the framework for Prompt corrective Action against Bank's reporting weak financials and operating deficiencies during onsight inspection.
Other highlights in his Central Banking Career includes leading the RBI Project team on Risk Based Supervision with DFID, UK and their Consultants (PWC), and association with Working Groups set up by RBI on various subjects like Corporate Governance in Banks (Dr. Ganguly Committee), IT Security, Serious Fraud Reporting System for Banks in association with Chief Vigilence Commissioner, Government of India.
He has also been associated with multilateral organizations like WTO, IMF, BIS and World Bank in their various programs.
Mr. Srinivasan is a B.Com from Madras University, B.GL from Mumbai University and CAIIB from Indian Institute of Bankers.

Lt Gen (Dr) Mukesh Sabharwal has been on the Board of YES Bank since April 2012 as an Independent Director.
A hardcore professional, Gen Sabharwal had an outstanding service career, spanning over 40 years in the Indian Army that began with successfully fighting in the Indo-Pakistan War in 1971. He has a rich operational experience having served in Siachen, Ladakh, Manipur in North East India, and several tenures in Jammu and Kashmir engaged in counter terrorist operations.
He was the Corps Commander of the sensitive 15 Corps at Srinagar responsible for maintaining internal security and stability within the Kashmir Valley. He was the Security Advisor to the J&K Government in 2007-08 during the President’s Rule arising out of the Amarnath Shrine Board agitation.
Appointed as the Adjutant General of the Indian Army in 2008, he managed the entire Human Resources of over 11 lakh officers and soldiers and interests of 22 lakh ex-servicemen. He has sound experience in policy formulation, implementation and monitoring of manpower planning, personnel services, recruitment, selection, discipline, vigilance, welfare and security.
Having done his schooling from St. Columba’s High School, Delhi, he has completed his Masters in Defence Studies from Madras University and Masters in Management Studies from Osmania University. He is also a Master of Military Arts and Science from CGSC University, Kansas, USA, a Master of Strategic Studies from US Army War College, Pennsylvania, USA and an M(Phil) in Defence Studies from Madras University.
He completed his PhD from the Indira Gandhi National Open University, New Delhi in 2015. The subject of his thesis was “Terrorism in South Asia and its Relationship to India’s Security”.
He was awarded the Param Vishisht Seva Medal for distinguished services of an exceptional order by the President of India. Earlier, he had been awarded the Vishisht Seva Medal, the Ati Vishisht Seva Medal and the Bar to Ati Vishisht Seva Medal.
He retired from service in 2011. In 2015, he was nominated by the Raksha Mantri to Chair a Committee of Experts to review the litigation and grievances in the Defence Services of India.
