The Indian Financial Institutions (IFI) team at YES BANK spearheads relationship development with various Banks and Financial Institutions nationally. The IFI team leverages its existing relationships with various Banks and Financial Institutions to raise resources, and to get counter-party limits for the Bank. Additionally, IFI offers a wide variety of products including Debt, Trade Finance, Guarantees, Treasury Services, Working Capital Finance, Cash Management & Transactional Services and Liquidity Management Solutions to the Bank’s customers by entering into partnerships with other Banks and Financial Institutions. This relationship with other Banks and Financial Institutions is also leveraged for syndication of loans for the Bank’s Corporate and Commercial Banking customers, and to raise resources through refinancing the Bank’s loan portfolios. The IFI team leads the Bank’s efforts towards raising debt capital in the form of Hybrid Tier I and Tier II bonds from various Indian institutions. YES BANK provides capital market specific solutions, thereby facilitating a superior experience for the broker’s customers.
In 2010, YES BANK has entered into a partnership with India Infoline whereby the technology platforms of YES BANK and India Infoline have been integrated to offer customers a seamless online trading experience.
Additionally, the Bank in association with other business groups successfully raised INR 560 crores of Lower Tier II Capital in September 2009 and January 2010, and INR 82 crores of Hybrid Tier I (Perpetual Debt) Capital in February 2010 from pedigree investors like LIC, GIC and IFCI. YES BANK also raised INR 93 crores of 15 years Upper Tier II Capital with a call option with the Bank at the end of 10 years, from PROPARCO in France.
